Due to the required long life of the fences, it is recommended to use materials with plastic covered surfaces. In the offer, there are, however, cheaper fences of a variant with a hot zinc dipped surface.

A frequent supplement of an industrial fencing is its upper protection in the form of barbed or razor-blade wire.
